My name is Ronny Wouwermans and I currently work 15 years for Mekes. I have retired at the age of 67 but I am still active at Mekes.
What is your function at Mekes?
I am responsible for the worldwide sales of our graphic machinery and also the product management. The last few years I’ve mainly focused on the printing presses and closely related products.
When and why have you started working at Mekes?
I started working at Mekes in February 2007. The reason I chose for Mekes is that they had a good reputation in the market and were trading in machines I was involved in at the time. At my former employer there were too many limitations which I didn’t like.
What makes your work at Mekes so much fun?
The variation, diversity and responsibility of the work makes it all-round where everyday is different from the other. Furthermore I have a lot of freedom in the negotiations and we work with a close team.
What is the greatest success you have had at Mekes?
I do not pursue any personal success, nor have I ever made a list of successes. I try to be the link that gets things moving, the support that is needed for success and the keeper of the quality.
