Macrolibros was totally burned to the ground november 14th 2015

The unfortunate company Macro Libros was totally burned-out November 14th 2015. Their total production capacity was lost in one day. It was not only terrible for the 148 employees of the company risking to lose their jobs. Also Macro Libros’ customers were waiting for their orders they already had placed. The future was very uncertain at that moment.

Situation after the fire

First of all luckily there were no victims. However, all production capacity was lost. Since they use very large and highly specialized equipment, availability was an issue. It was necessary to gain enough capacity to get the production up and running. The capacity was needed to meet the deadline for the upcoming spring. A large quantity of schoolbooks had to be printed and be ready for the next school year.
